Mine Site Drilling – The Globe, Reefton
Location
The Globe Pit, Reefton
Drilling Project Details
To drill a series of holes to intersect an old mining tunnel/drive, 90m below the bottom of the old Globe Pit.
Once we determined the drive was dry, we placed a series of packers into the holes and cemented to the surface. We used our MP300 drill rig for this project.
Drilling Equipment Used
MP300 Drill Rig.
Result
The drilling was completed on time, within budget, and the holes intersected the drive as per the clients requirements. I find it is always a pleasure returning to work sites where you share a solid working-history.
