The first video, ‘Drilling Through An Earthquake Landslide’ is a project for Kaikoura EIL (Earthquake Induced Landslide) Research. This is a comprehensive overview of the work that involved drilling a series of PQ size core holes through some of the biggest landslides, landslides caused by the 2016 earthquakes between Waiau and Kaikoura. The second video, ‘How A Geological Drill Rig Works’ is particularly interesting viewing for those looking for an overview of how this skill-set is successfully achieved and the specific equipment required.
