Project BriefCarry out investigative drilling to determine strata below the actual river bed.
Project Challenges - Very short runoff – rapidly rising river of up to 6 metres.
- Constant close monitoring of weather patterns.
- Ability to mobilise on and off the hole extremely quickly.
- Strict environmental constraints.
- Implement Health and Safety procedures for operating a small platform on a deep river.
ResultVery successful project. Despite constraints it was satisfactorily completed on time and within set budget.
